Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are you open for art commissions?
Check out my stores! Overall, I am open for commissions, but I will announce on social media (e.g., Twitter) if I have to temporarily close commissions for any reason. You can check back at a later time if there are no more slots for a commission opening (applicable to Etsy).
In any case, there's no harm in contacting me via email or via any one of my socials.
Are you comfortable drawing <insert what you have in mind>?
A general guideline on what I can draw, and what I will not draw, is available in my TOS. However, feel free to hit me up if you have something in mind that is not stated in that guideline.
What do you use to draw?
Clip Studio Paint for all digital still art, Aseprite for animation.
Do you take art requests/trades?
In short, no.
However, as I often like to experiment around with new stuff and expand my skillset, I may occasionally ask for some potential 'test subjects' for practice. Check me out over on Twitter if you would like to participate whenever this happens - but it does not guarantee that you will be chosen.
I like your website! What did you use to make it?
*ahem* Hi there - Oscillo here. I helped to develop this website for Lucy. (Yes, I am hoot. 🦉)
The current iteration of this website you are seeing now was built using the Next.js framework. This was my first attempt at making something using Next.js, first attempt using RadixUI/Tailwind, first attempt at primarily using TypeScript - it was a lots of firsts! The previous iteration was built off using PHP and Boostrap as the UI library of choice.
It definitely has been quite a learning journey so far, and I am still learning more about it (and now I can say that I am definitely not a fan of RadixUI, it has been quite a headache for me to work with). I would rather not disclose too many details, but if you have any questions regarding how I designed this whole thing and more, check me out at one of my points of contact (refer to the credit in the footer section).
Did I miss anything? Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Thank you for stopping by!
